The inspiration for
Sorcerer is less naturalistic (there are a few New Wave gestures here and there and stars Yves Montand after all), has fewer shadows,
much more nitroglycerine, trucks that are in better repair and is by far the more relevant and superior film.
Sorceror has some fantastic photography, though.
